which carries to have in a small pool of heroes?
Hi
Im begginer that play as carry, currently at guardian and climbing up by winning 75%+ of games after I learnt how to farm.
Id like to have a small pool of carry heroes Im good at and that offer me at least one very good pick in any situation.
Which would be the heroes you suggest? In which situation should I pick one or another?

for melee carries : jugg ,pa,pl (however wathout so they don't have much- aoe),ursa, troll , antimage( if they have int heroes or they have a decent mana pool)
as for ranged : kuna , drow, medusa , drow
on every one u need good farm and know what items to get first , sometimes a bkb is really needed if u dont wanna get cc , kited , etc
hope it helped

thanks! is it possible to reduce this list to 2-3 heroes that cover 95% of situations?

Alch, Grim, Snip - mid, Wk, Legion - forest, CK, Jugg, PL easy line, Briest, Kunka, Pit lord hard line.
Also try supports, cuz when you met 5 carry team it is better to pick a supp and try to win the game, then pick a carry and reduce your chance to win.

2-3 heroes don't cover this.
Try Void and Weaver

@Slava just few thing :
grim may be good as a core but op said he is a beginner so i wouldn 't sugest him grim
legion - forest , really? forest has been nerfed 2-3 at times as least last few patches, e can do better midin some situations or with the aid of support in the offlane since u can almost shut down enemy core
@Gabriel don 't pick jugg vs ursa , jugg relies on his ulti in early mid game to finish off enemies , and ursa ulti counters it

I dont advise to play carry if you cant read the game. Sometimes, very rare, but anyway you can meet boosters or good players in low tier brackets, sometimes you will not be able outplay them on line, so only one way is to outplay them as a team. In low bracket people have some good habit to start wrong fights (no vision, items, bad position, etc.) and you will need to show them right direction of what and when to do. If you whant to climbe on mmr ladder, you need to be VERY PATIENT with them. For example i am not, and usually i have 8-10 reports and 18-21 commends.

Pretty much what the other guys said. Pa is generally versatile and she doesn't have specific counters. Pl is one of my favourites, but he is countered by many heroes, such as earth shaker, sven, and medusa. Basically, hereos with splash damage. Slark is another hero who has a great potential if played correctly in early game ( ganking, mainly).
Sniper/ Drow are good ranged heroes, though they are squishy and extremely vulnerable to gankers. I'd avoid picking them when spirit breaker, riki, or nyx are on the enemy side.

Remember, when playing carries, BKB is your friend. don't but it until mid game though.

TL;DR : melee: Pa,Pl, slark
ranged: sniper/drow
Keep in mind this is directed toward a player who is relatively new.

Yeah, forest is good, if you are smart enough you can make stucks with owerhelming odds on lvl 4. Also in low mmr brackets no one cares about forest so midas 6 + radic 16 on Wk is common thing. Same with Legion early dagger- SB and you are owning the game.

When an LC on my team goes to the jungle, I'm inclined to report them. Farming in the jungle while your team is getting obliterated is not a good idea. I'd make an exception if a player can solo sustain his lane and not loose it.

The SB or the blink would be worthless if the enemy team gets fed due to the lack of your help.

Ember, jugg, tb, am,pl.
