maybe the mobile graphic card is the problem here. I already saw a lot of report from users with 800m series and 900m. I am using 840m right now and it's unplayable with vulkan

nvidia does do vulkan....it was in one of there recent updates for my 970m, not had a chance to try it out yet though as my laptop is off getting a new motherboard and some upgrades, so im back on my crappy old sony vaio for the time being...i miss my custom lappy :(

heres a list of all the cards supported the 960m is there so check the nvidia site for some support maybe ?

https://developer.nvidia.com/vulkan-driver

Vulkan was developed out of AMD mantle, it favors AMD.

here comes someone who is totally bias towards nvidia geforce graphics card.

do you know that nvidia geforce graphics card is way far better than amd radeon graphics card????

i can play dota 2 using the DLC "vulkan" without any problem at all. no lag, no performance lag.......etc.

ultimately, other than your graphics card driver you have, your CPU specs is very important too.

take note that people have more than 1 graphics card driver in their computer.

so don't come here and give information that doesn't help to solve TN1K's problem.

I am not being bias, I am just stating a fact that the Vulkan API was developed using AMD mantle. And I suggest him using other APIs if the Vulkan doesn't work well on his laptop. Why does he have to use Vulkan anyway? There are DX and Open GL.

currently "vulkan" is at its beta version so far.

once it is out of beta version, it doesn't matter if you using amd radeon or nvidia geforce graphics card, vulkan will work for everyone in the end.

so by saying "vulkan" favors over this graphics card drivers instead of the other graphics card driver shows that you are giving a very bias opinion.

especially if i assume correctly that you are using amd radeon graphics card driver.
so far its having issues on my GT740M,windows 10 64bit

mine is nvidia geforce 920M

i'm also using windows 10 64 bit too.

and mine is a laptop. (i bought the laptop that comes with windows 10 64 bit directly)

my processor is

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-5200U CPU @ 2.20GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.2GHz

RAM is 8 GB of RAM.

Page File: 3081MB used, 7024MB available (this is my paging file size)

if your computer is formerly windows 8.1 or windows 7 and upgraded to windows 10, then it would be best to restore back to the previous windows operating system as it might solve your issue instead.

NVIDIA has full Vulkan support as of 368.22

https://developer.nvidia.com/vulkan-driver

and Vulkan favors nothing
Supports all NVIDIA/AMD/Intel/and god knows what else and so far it will on every operating system except Apple

Also AMD take there hands off the vulkan a long time ago. They gave up mantle pretty fast too.
Kronos is the owner of Vulkan now

Vulkan is meant to support various devices, even smartphone. This is the main marketing concept of Vulkan

yeap
Samsung S7 already has vulkan support. im not sure if S6 has it also.
Android N will have vulkan support. I'm not sure if Android M has vulkan already.
Vulkan will be supported also on consoles.
As i said it will probably work on everything but Apple products since they dont want to participate...yet
And i really hope it will take off as i really don't want to move to windows 10
