Loaded with an exclusive haul of features and rewards, The International 2016 Battle Pass is here to shepherd the Dota summer season from the mayhem of the Majors to the climactic battle in Seattle. Battle Pass owners can increase their Battle Levels to earn additional Immortal Treasures and other rewards by completing Quests, winning Wagers, unlocking Community Goals, or purchasing Battle Level Bundles.
25% of all Battle Pass sales go directly to The International 2016 prize pool.

All Battle Pass owners will gain immediate access to special seasonal features in addition to their initial bundle of items.

An exclusive terrain is accessible to all Battle Pass owners, and will be available until your Battle Pass expires.

QUESTS
Prior to each game, choose one of three Paths to determine your current objective. Complete the assignment and win the match to earn Battle Points and move to the next Quest. Earn enough points to raise your Battle Level and unlock new rewards. You can change your selection during the picking phase to match the needs of each game.

New three-star tier system
Every node of each Path has three tiers of difficulty, each offering a different Battle Point reward. Fulfill any tier to complete the Quest, and aim for the Three-Star objective to earn the maximum number of Battle Points for that node.

New three-star alternate styles
The final Quest of each Path will unlock a related Completion Reward unique to that Path, each of which can also receive a style upgrade for players who complete all Three-Star objectives along that Path.

New unlockable quest path
Players that reach level 225 will not only receive a special Legion Commander Prestige item, they’ll also unlock a Quest Path designed specifically for her. Those who complete Tresdin's Path will receive a visually-unique enhancement for her Prestige item.


WAGERING
Each week you will receive a balance of Tokens to use in the wagering system. Place a wager and back it up with a victory to earn additional Battle Points. Unspent tokens will not roll over to the next week's balance, so lay your limit on the line.

Postgame tipping
After destroying the enemy Ancient, reward a resourceful teammate or crafty opponent with some of your winnings. With more triumphs to come, your coffers are sure to be brimming.

New high roller bonus
Players can now receive an additional 500 tokens per week when their Battle Pass hits level 119, another 500 at level 235, and 1000 at level 395. Plus, all players that receive any of these upgrades will also be able to bet up to 500 tokens in a single game.


COMMUNITY CHALLENGE
Throughout the duration of the Battle Pass, a series of Community Quests will be available to all pass owners. Completing the challenge objectives in your winning matches will contribute to the community progress bar. When the community collectively completes enough challenges to fill the bar, all Battle Pass owners will receive three fireballs to drop in Lina's Battle Blaze for a chance to win additional Battle Points. To kindle interest, you'll also start off with three free fireballs.


NEW HIGH-WATER MARK
Each year, Dota 2 fans the world over join together to raise the largest prize pool in all of esports. This time, if the pool surpasses last year's total of $18,429,613, every Battle Pass owner will be granted three 'Trust of the Benefactor' treasure rewards. Each of these new treasures will offer a chance to receive a 2016 Immortal Treasure, a Random Hero Set, an Arcana Set, or an ultra rare chance at one of the following limited-run prizes:

FIND YOUR PEAK RANK
As a Battle Pass owner, you'll be able to join matches with other dedicated players striving to reach their highest potential. Battle hard and track your MMR progress via the new Friend and Global Leaderboards to see how high you can go.

At the conclusion of The International 2016 Grand Finals, you'll receive an achievement trophy digitally engraved with your Peak MMR during this season, as well as the option to display your highest record on your profile for the following year.

Join The International Ranked Queue to begin your calibration. Play 40+ games and you’ll also have the option to replace your normal Ranked MMR with your new, hard-fought Season MMR once The International 2016 is complete.


WEEKEND BATTLE CUP
As we kick off The International season, the best professional players in the world prepare to carve their legacies into the summer tournament brackets. Soon the same challenges and thrills of competitive Dota will be available to everyone, with the launch of the Weekend Battle Cup.

Multiple skill tiers across four divisions
During scheduled, weekly events, participants can party up and battle through eight-team, single-elimination brackets. Teams are placed in a skill tier against evenly-matched opponents competing in one of four geographic divisions.

Season Starts This June

THE SPOILS OF WAR
Apart from the satisfaction of hard-fought victory, the Battle Cup prize pool includes Battle Points, a tournament trophy for your profile, and a special in-match item to display your triumphs to future teammates and enemies alike.


BATTLE UP
All Battle Pass owners will receive one free entry ticket, with additional tickets being available in the Dota 2 store. Receive five more Battle Cup Tickets at level 137. The Weekend Battle Cup season will run for the duration of the current Battle Pass, and the first weekend tournament begins in June. Stay tuned for more details.


ARCANA VOTE
Take part in Dota democracy and vote for which hero you think should receive the next Arcana set in this 104-hero runoff. Every Battle Pass owner will start with sixteen votes that are replenished each round. Use all your votes on one hero, or split them across multiple heroes. Once the final votes are tallied, the winning hero will be announced at The International 2016.


BATTLE LOG

COMPENDIUM
All Battle Pass owners will also receive The International 2016 Compendium. Along with the accustomed predictions and profiles, the Compendium will include new features and activities to help make this the most interactive edition yet. Until then, earn extra Battle Points making predictions for The Manila Major.


BATTLE LEVEL REWARDS
Raise your Battle Level to unlock increasing numbers of exclusive rewards.
Level up by completing Battle Pass objectives or purchasing Battle Level Bundles directly. Push your level high enough and you'll earn additional Immortal Treasures, a new equippable terrain, emoticons, hero taunts, and more.

Immortal Gardens terrain
- This terrain does not expire!
Hunt your enemies through the ancient gardens of the gods. All pass owners who reach Battle Level 125 will be permanently awarded the Immortal Gardens Terrain.

Onibi the evolving courier
This agent of the willow sprites isn't a single emissary, but a collective delegation. With 21 additional style unlocks, you can increase Onibi's level to summon fellow sprites to the courier cause.

Legacy of the Fallen Legion - Legion Commander prestige item
Includes New Quest Path And Unlockable Style
Pushing your Battle Pass to level 225 will grant an upcoming Legion Commander Prestige item, as well as unlock a new Quest Path. Complete Tresdin's Path to receive a style unlock for the Prestige item. Befitting such battle regalia, we'll also share some of the Bronze Legion's past exploits in an all-new Dota 2 comic.

River vials
The river runs red...or green or purple! Starting at Battle Level 85, you'll receive mystical River Vials that allow your hero to change the substance and color of the river for everyone in the game. A vial can be equipped by claiming it from the in-game shop and cannot be applied to an already-modified river. As you level up, you'll gain access to new types of Vials as well as recharging your stock of previous Vials. Each vial comes with ten charges that last ten minutes each. The ultimate Vial, which turns the river into Blood, is available at level 2500 and comes with 50 charges.

Special effects
Unlock seasonal in-game effects when you reach the following Battle Levels:
2, 6, 16, 68, 77, 131, 146, 155, 161, 176, 194, 197, 265, 535, 675, 775.

Sometimes one just needs a bit of levity to face the fog of war. With eight new hero taunts available, you'll soon be jamming, juggling, flipping, and hopping your way down mirth-filled lanes.

As you increase your Battle Level, you'll earn spins on Rylai's Wheel of Battle Blessing—with Hero Sets, Couriers, and Treasures in the mix, the only thing you need to do to win is spin.

Level 1000 Aegis
Commemorate the competitive season's crowning event by claiming your own Aegis of Champions. Those battle-forged legends that make it to level 1000 will not only receive a special glow effect for the in-game fountain Aegis, they will also be invited to receive The International 2016 Collector's Aegis, an exclusive 1/5th-scale alloy replica of the famed champion's prize.
