Easy way to make converted neutrals follow?
When playing with Chen, Enchantress, or using a HotD, is there a way to make a creep follow your hero automatically, so you don't have to keep switching control groups or control both the creep and your hero at the same time?

THere's an auto select controlled units option that'll add them to your selection immediately. I think there's also a select all units button that can be bound.

Ya tick that option.

Besides my hotkeys being different (a heavily modified version of the MMO preset, so I have 1-6 reserved for hero abilities, spacebar selects my hero, etc.), my problem isn't really controling different groups of units, it just seems unnecessary in certain cases.

If I have an Alpha Wolf, or any other neutral with an aura, basically I want it to follow me, and not attack when I do, so it doesn't charge in and take damage while I'm safely using ranged attacks. Like I said, it's not really a test of skill to switch to a neutral and press the "stop" key, it just shouldn't be the only option. It's not really "control" so much as "lack of control".

In Warcraft 3, I'm pretty sure if you had unit A selected, and right clicked unit B, it'd follow unit B until told to do otherwise. And sometimes that's all I want a neutral to do.

It is the M button for move by default. Just M+click something to follow it. A attack, M move, P patrol, H hold; old-school warcraft.

I don't know why I didn't think of that. I guess I assumed right-clicking would be the same :V I'll give it a shot, thanks.

So yeah in the case of alpha wolf just hit the M button and click your hero.

I think the right click on friendly used to or does work, but we all would rather override that with the "force right-click attack" option.

Yes, I have force right-click attack on. I guess that makes sense it'd override following, so your creep could potentially deny you if you were doomed or whatever.
