If you dont understand how the system looks at the pool of players of similar mmr and behavior score and checks roles they selected, then dota gonna be a super hard game for you. Good luck
if you dont want play hard support then dont select it
I understand the cores part, I've read about that before and it's perfectly understandable, and I'm ok with playing support, mostly soft support, but I was wondering if there was some kind of varible; aside from the inherent feature you mentioned in your comment, that causes a player to always get the HARD support role.
Thanks for your comment anyways
select all roles and play some games as hard support. then you dont need select support.
You always queue with supports role so you have a free token, but you don't stockpile these token, if I understood well. The reason they always give you pos 5 is that there is a lack of pos 5, if you tick it you are almost guaranted to be put in this role. Because the other players will stockpile 4 token if they tick all roles, so they can queue only for one role afterwards. You are getting matched with these people ticking only 1 role.
Thanks for the advice
It may increase your queue time a bit, but yes, it is the only solution to that unless you play with premade team!
Thanks again!
You are welcome, given I'm pos 5 90% of my games, I know the struggle if I get put in another role!
