Can I get Vac Banned for using mouse macros?

Hey guys I was just wondering if I could get vac banned for using mouse macros in dota 2.

Valve allows it so therefor it is legit and in no way cheating. You are like a man trying to dig a big hole in hard rocky ground with a flimsy plastic beach shovel complaining that anyone who uses a proper metal shovel to do the job is only doing so because they are too unskilled to use a useless plastic shovel.

Just that valve allows it (Or doesn't know it). That doesn't mean it is legit and cheating.
Not complaining. But if you are using macros to play your game than you are unskilled and you need tools to win your game.

Well, it's more like, he uses a normal shovel while I use an excavator, then he claims that his hole is better than mine because he had to work harder for it.

Look kiddo, skill in dota doesn't come down to a macro.

I mean, I use macros as well, you could say mine are harmless, as they just affect the courier, I mean, I press G2 and send it to secret shop, but it's done in such a fast time that I don't need to lose focus on my lane or what I am doing to care about the courier.

As both me and Purdurabu stated, just because you don't want to use them it doesn't mean it's cheating, as everyone can use them. If Valve would allow just certain people to use them, they yes, it would be cheating, but otherwise, it's not. Everyone has the same access to them, it's just a matter of deciding if you want to use them or not.

There is a difference between scrubs and players, which is simple, scrubs have a stupid "code of honour" that they follow and believe that everyone should follow it, while players simply play to win using all methods available. Valve allows it, we use it, simple.

Oh my, I'm so unskilled cuz instead of pressing 3 buttons to send the courier to the secret shop I press just 1...or that instead of pressing 5 buttons to buy the first available item in my quick buy and having it delivered to me with speed boost (if available) I press just 1...oh my, I didn't knew I'm so unskilled....

So are you saying a 6kmmr player who uses macro's less skilled at dota than a 200mmr player who does not use macro's?

Calling something that is allowed by the game desing "cheat" implies you have a "code of honour" that stops you from doing "certain things allowed by the game" because you believe them as cheating.

Leave him be, some players have this "code of honour" by which they play, like:
- not spamming OP heroes,you have no idea how many people cried on the forum about OP heroes, but when they got told to try that hero, they said they wouldn't sink that low and play that hero.
- not using macros, because everything has to be done by self or it's not "skill"

etc.

EDIT: The game allows using normal macros, by that I mean gaming mouses and keybards (I use both :D ) and everyone has equal acces to macros, so untill Valve gives a special notice that they are forbidden, you can free use them, so don't listen to those players that say it's cheating or "no-skill", for them even quick-cast is "no-skill".

Players that play to win use every advantage premited by the game, macros are permited by the game, so feel free to use them.
