Nope, because the passive is restricted to the item and the clones only get boots + stats. Even if it did work, I'd still say it was a bad item on Meepo because it lacks stats.

Lacks stats? it has 35 agi for each clone which is pretty good for right click damage, it isnt the best meepo item but its definatly good

The stats are actually fantastic for the price, and the active helps you gank.

There are better items for its purpose, but diffusal is cheap. Picking up dragon lance/diffusal gives you lots of stats for little gold. Good if you're behind
