30 days gift ban for new friends is sad :(

Why do we have to be friends with a user for 30 days before we can give them gifts?
Please reconsider this and make a better solution if it only concerns those ret@rd players complaining how they got scammed through gifting.

Make a new tab on dota user profile where people who made a trade/gift with them can comment. A tab which is visible to all players with undeletable comment (unlike in steam profile) but the user can make a reply to comments to support himself from trolls (like posting a link of a picture that their trade is legit). Trading/ Gifting Points in profile will do too.

Exactly, yes. But it will only appear in the new tab not in profile main page. Many players don't care about trading/ gifting anyways.

Really like how is this Valve problem that noobs get scammed via gift-trading. It's the most ridicilous thing you can do and then you cry on forums....

But if that is the reason, using options on steam profile you can "make trade offer" with anyone even if you've just added them. It will be easier for hackers to do this. This is what I've been doing to give my new friends some items. But I can't give nontradeable items.

It is more difficult to trade using "invite to trade" feature (right click on friends list) since mobile authenticator or email confirmation is a pure mess.

That is an interesting concept, and a viable option for trading given a degree of refinement. That said, it shouldn't be implemented for gift trading- Valve doesn't want people gift trading.
