how good is dragonlance/hurricane pike for terrorblade?

i mean i get it, in your demon form you can attack from so far away, especially with hurricane pike but you're not in demon form all the time so if you're fighting without demon isn't it like, useless?

what im trying to say is that , how good is it, i know it is good but arent there better early/core item choices

You'd only get the ranged bonus about a third of the time however if you switch the item out with some farming equipment when you have to be melee then something could be done with it. But Terrorblade is an expensive carry who needs items expensive items like skadi and manta desperately due to his terrible health and mediocre chasing power, so I don't really see when it would be picked up. The best part of dragon lance is it's ability to be disassembled into omre useful things with ogre club.

If TB was always ranged, I think it would be cool, but alas, that's not the case. It's a good item for an ranged AGI hero since it gives some agility and heath.

Shares the same problem with Dragon Knight. Such a peculiar hero DK is... Can't make his mind about being a dragon or a human(?), don't know if he's ranged or melee... so confusing...

I just see it so often on him, especially when it was Fnatic vs Alliance where Loda played a great terrorblade. But yeah, i feel like it would be the same as Dragon Lance on Dragon Knight

We are not pros nor are in a team. Play accordingly to your bracket and with your teammates. If hurricane pike seems useful for the match, then I don't see nothing wrong, but doing it just because a MLG pro did it, isn't a good idea.
