Issue with tipping players

So ever since battle pass started i can't give tips with dota + points nor at all.. i keep trying to click on the button but nothing happens. I know it's not an issue with game files since both laptop and pc has the same problem. does anyone know a fix for it? thanks

Hold ALT and tip buttons should appear beneath the hero portraits on the upper panel. Those work for me.

Did you try Alt+clicking under their portraits at the top?

I think this works like this, if you have BP and D+ at the same time.
You have 3 tips for both, but D+ tip button is unavailable until you use all your BP tips.
When you try to tip a player that isn't a BP user, clicking the button does nothing, unlike tipping other players who aren't D+ subscribers.
