What I mean is, remember the way wards used to work? No gold for killing wards, there used to be little vision in pub games - you could mine anywhere!
Different game now, you have 10 sentry wards to put down and the information from them makes techies hard.
Its a real shame as it gave another way to play which I think dota has lost. I remember cancer lancer pushing PL - now its arc warden.
Pushing with deso cuirass meant something. Now its just about glyphs and the towers die so fast.
What happened to jungling? Used to be a whole bunch of heros could jungle level 1 and create unique lanes and gameplay experiences
As a young lad at sea, when the waves were smashing the boat I was dreaming of what dota could be with new heros who might increase armour or attack levels of the wave creeps - that we might be able to spawn more or even different kinds from a rax. Saving up for a boss creep to help push that wave...
Now its all about destroying people in 2 mins.

Now they change it to different skill where you can’t really burst the enemy if he side step to the left or right when the skill is used.
But it is the fact and the hero already change same as techies. So we adapt to it.
I miss all those LOTR maps from WC3 - man.... remember balins tomb and getting legolas?! or camping the keep with archers on helms deep. Even games like parasite - just leagues ahead of its time. Basic tower defence games hit mobile for billions - plants vs zombies is just a really rubbish tower defence XD
you just dont get it bro - its REDMINES being stacked that was the joy. Sure, you can take some greens for your "rampage style" 5 man push defence. But it was always about going round a corner and BOOM - dead.
Tht was the power of techies. You say did nothing? I say -- yeah im not going for rosh or the rune without wards.
Again thats because you are too linear - have you played a lot of things like FPS before?
