Question about quality; inscribed or genuine?

I'm planning on buying quite an expensive weapon and I can find two of them with the same gem (kills). So which of them is rarer? The inscribed one or the genuine one? Whats the difference?

Genuine worth more for there are less items of the same quality + Genuine items come from promo physical products or chests.

May i ask what item so i can give you my opinion if it is worth it or not?! i do have some knowldge about the tarde scene.

p.s. Clean items are better than socket items in net worth and in future trade/re-sell.

If u are buying Genuine item such as BF, SB, HEX. Don't buy ones that was socketed just don't.

Untouch genuine items are more valuable and rising in price quicker that r.ap.ep ones

When something new arrives on the market, people will buy it.
If people want to buy it, they need either money or keys.
If people need money or keys, they get desperate.
If they get desperate, they sell stuff like Genuine Shadow Blades to get money or keys.
If they sell genuine Shadow Blades, the price lowers.

Hex = common word for hex skill that can be found on shaman or lion OR in a ingame weapon named Scythe of Vyse
I donno any HEX cosmetic(if exist some 1 correct me).

Scythe of Vyse can be called "sheep stick"

Yepp that is how the weapon in game looks like.
(For OP) The fact the cosmetic and the ingame weapon are the same does not mean SOV(cosmetic) is called hex.
