McAfee is blocking my connection
My internet connection is running ok, but when I just open the game it suddenly blocks my connection. Ping goes to 3000 and I can't even open the Google page in a browser.
But it goes back to normal when I close Dota 2, how can I fix this?
Thank you

Go to the Settings tab on your AV and make an exception Rule for the Dota2 .exe file... if thats your problem that is.

I would recommend Avast, or AVG. I also use Spybot Search and Destroy, and Webroot.

I used to use Zonealarm for the firewall and AVG for the data protection until ZA got its own data protection.

I prefer ZA because I find it less invasive than any other program. Also setting rules and exceptions is easy as 1 click away.

Use AVG, it's free and effective. It also doesn't use up much RAM, so it's great for gamers.
I personally use Norton since I subscribed it, but when it's over, I usually stick AVG. Check the RAM usage, if it does affect your RAM memory.
