Is about 2500 solo mmr good?

is 2500 solo ranked mmr good for just finishing my first 10 ranked matches to get my rank? whats the average start out mmr?

i started at 3.8k somehow i got to 4.1k now im sitting on 4k once u get around 4k games are a bit more intense. in saying that you still get players who dont know what they are doing...

I've played dota for nearly 8 years now. My mmr started with 4.7k now it's 6013. I believe that the average mmr in SEA server is nearly over 3.3k. They have the statistics at reddit as well.

And to answer your question honestly...2.5k bracket is considered terrible from my perspective. A friend of mine has 2.6k mmr and the level of his games is just ridiculously hilarious if you know what i mean lol.

2500 is bad . 4000 is where it feels game is more mainstream more meta and people buy wards. 6000+ is where game pro very fast very hard to keep up .

and 2500 and below is pretty bad :D people are like "Riki is OP needs nerf" or "hey sniper is imba gg ff"

Probably not your fault, I got wasted by the mmr even tho I won 8/10 of my matches my starting MMR was so low from unranked matches that I only got 2.9k. I carried 8/10 matches and got 2.9k MMR. :| It's practically impossible to escape that for an average player.

Exactly like ranked, before you start playing ranked. After that, they seem to be entirely disconnected.

Due to how the system works, it is far more dependent on how you've done recently than how you did when you were new. So your MMR should roughly reflect how good you are.
