Why Vengeful Spirit is build as carry instead of a support?

When there's a Shendelzare on my team, ok she buy wards and stuff, but, why she is build with a Desolator, Treads Shadow blade and S&Y? I get the point of desolator, because of the huge minus armor with Medalion of Courage.

He is actually build as a support... You just met troll or player that like unsual carries.

First of all, VS isn't bad carry but no flash-farm and poor range makes her another i-need-bkb-hero.

because venge still is an agility heroes and agility gives good DPS in high quantities (most agi heroes are carries, therefore), and venge has +dmg and -armor, so will buff damage even more.
Even though i'd not recommend this build anyhow, but 'tis possible

Cos of her passive aura, lots of people build her into carry, semi-carry. Wait till you meet a carry windrunner :) That buys no wards or cour. Items you mentioned are Situational. And wiki page is really old.

Well Vengeful, even built as a support is a strong semi-carry. Desolator is normally a carry item but it some cases, it can be a support item. She has an armor reduction skill and a good support Venge will have a Medallion of Courage. That's a lot of armor reduction. A good support Venge, if no one else will buy it, will probably buy an Assault Curiass.

Anyway. Carry Venge? I dont know too much in that. I play her as a support.

Venge, Veno and alike are viable carries and in setups with other semi-carries can be quite deadly.PR drafted Venge as a carry for pretty much all their games in SL, I think it was. They walked through lots of teams with that strat.
I personally love carry venge in mid against certain heroes.
