Dota 2 - Free On-Demand Complimentary
It's always been free, why did I only get it today? I've had Dota 2 installed and played for ages but this appeared today. I don't think you have any idea what I'm talking about. It's not there just to say it's free, they added Workshop Tools DLC with it too.
Well I'm not gonna try it but I think if you remove the license, after you uninstall it no longer stays in library and you have to add it from store again.
That would be a pretty safe bet. I'm sure Steam won't let you remove a license for something you paid for. That's why the Remove link exists only for stuff that says "Complimentary" or "Free".
I think the Free On-Demand thing is simply in response to previous criticism that you could not remove Free content from your account if you didn't want it anymore. Now those who want to can clean up their game lists.
