So after 100 games of LoL...

- Region lock
- so no xenophobia and racism
- more casual, easier to learn
- so less unpleasant matches with noobs
- and a more friendly community
- formed by a dev that encourages team spirit and friendliness
- and a dev that actually communicates with the community and takes feedback
- surrender option, so you are not forced to stay in pointless matches
- close to zero fighting over surrendering, because of an overall friendly and cooperative commuinty (and just like in Dota, you know when its over)
- players are more relaxed BECAUSE they know they won't waste too much lifetime in a lost match
- a team builder with wich you can pick your role before queueing before a match
- you can play exactly what you want to play
- so nobody is forced to play a support if they don't want to!
- Supports can buy a sightstone that contains a bunch of wards, so you are not forced to spend tons of gold on wards all the fime and can buy something fun
- supports can even buy an item that gives them gold for harassing the enemy or standing near dying creeps
- farming is less important/easier. You fight living enemy players, not the AI for 20 minutes
- ** less snowbally than dota, so battles swing back and forth more often and remain interesting
- larger player base, so the matchmaking secrues relaitvely even matches
- ** less pubstomp heroes like PL, Riki etc that are designed only to stomp low level games (Edit:

- ...and no elitism of Dota keyboard warriors.


You can argue with these points, but it is my experience. You can't change that. Valve, take notes. Wait, you don't even read these forums. Oh well... My flame suit is on however. But I only want your best, a better, more fun Dota. I want you to rage less, because that is bad for humanity in general.

This should not sound like advertising for LoL, it should only show Valve that they are incredibly slowly improving their game for such a rich company. Equally, their player base is growing incredibly slowly, so that's just fair.


BEAR IN MIND: This are only the good things about LoL that should be a part of Dota imho. I am not saying that LoL is a better game. Dota to me is more "likeable", and I want it's best.

There is no region lock in league of legends. Russians can register EU, US, Chinese or Brazilian accout if they with. And vice versa. And they do it for completely different reasons: they have different server infrastructure. Not to please you, the eurowhiner.

Not commenting on others cause it's totally different game. And in fact you only pointed the stuff you like selectively, without pointing disadvantages, that dota 2 doesn't have, is not fair, and double standarts.

- There is no region lock,there is just a price tag to cross servers.
- there is as much xenophobia/racism there as in dota,only there its mostly against brazilians
- it is indeed more casual, easier to learn
- the amount of unpleasant matches with noobs is roughly the same
- the community is as bad as dota,if not worse
- sure,tencent and riot encourage that,thats why they have the tribunal
- pendragon does a lot of communication with the community indeed,making red posts doesnt deny that they never listen,unless its to kill fun stuff like AP Yi,Rengar fun strats,Sona,etc
- the surrender option makes sure most games never go past 20 minutes,and ruins most of them
- Close to 100% fighting over surrender is more like it,and yes,they know when its over,after first blood
- players are as relaxed as in dota
- yes,the team builder is quite nice,but only works because of their rigid meta
- no,you cant play exactly what you want to play,1,because you need to purchase stuff,2,because your teammates wont let you

- farming is less important indeed,mostly because there is no late game
