Dota2Lounge.com is the only one actually affiliated with Steam. All transactions are done via bot accounts so you can't really be scammed out of anything.

It was never affilated with steam, in fact steam shut them down and you can no longer bet items there.

Yes as far as I know valve have shut down every site which uses in game trading which was all of them. Only way to bet on matches is to do so with money.

Dotalounge is up, and you can still place bets, the only difference is that you have to go through many verification steps now. This happened after the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with betting sites and age verification, and other stuff

Sites using Steam openid are NOT affiliated with Steam. They are just using the openid API to obtain information from your Steam account and link it with a third party site.

That's like saying any website that lets you login with Facebook *is* affiliated with Facebook. They are not. They're just using FB's api.
