Initial, Basic, Core, Utility, Situational, Extension and Luxury Items

Hello,
I would like to know the difference between these 7 types of items.
I'll put a build of Drow Ranger as an example:

Initial items:
Slippers of agility, Ring of protection, Tango, Healing salve and Iron branch

Basic items:
Wraith band, Power treads and Ring of aquila

Core items:
Dragon lance, Helm of the dominator and Hurricane pike

Utility items:
Town scroll poertal

Situational items:
Blink dagger, Sange and yasha and Silver edge

Extension items:
Manta style, BKB, Daedalus and Butterfly

Luxury items:
Aghanim's scepter, Mjollnir and Satanic

Initial-Starting items

Basic-cheap but useful early game items

Core-very important

Utility-helpful items often with an effect useful for the hero

Situational-items that are often only gotten when going against a certain hero, lineup, or item

Extension-items you can build into with parts you most likely already have

Luxury-Very expensive and often difficult to build items with some of the strongest effects
