Herald rank is full of smurf and booster accounts

I play in herald rank , mach making is full of smurf and booster account , cant even rank up

That's why I uncalibrated my rank because low rank, but many good players on enemy match

unfortunately idk actually how uncalibrated algorithm works for match making , but we need to help valve to clear brackets from smurf and booster accounts

Actually I think smurf players take money from low skill players and rank up their accounts in herald bracket , or smurfs create a new account and after 100 hours gameplay , they open rank for new account in high rank , and then sell those accounts

Don't mess smurfs with boosters and bad boosters especially (those who play like deranker trash but still boost). Goal of smurf is to spend time waiting for online at high mmr, to warm-up, to chill etc. Boosters doing this for money and good ones don't mid-stomp anyone because its not victory condition at all. Bad boosters mid-stomp noobs so you hate them for this and derankers just stomp wo boosting and stay at rank forever/until ban so most hated kind of trash is they.

Its true that to do all this you need to be a smurf but its way different actions both in terms of goals and exact match moves.

no way 200 mmr invoker is using refresher orb. it is already hard enough for heralds to use his spells, and using refresher to spell spam would never happen unless they were a smurf/booster

dota white knights expect us to believe heralds using refresher orb invoker doing double meteor/cataclysm/deafening blast combos are normal and that we should "git guud", but that could not be further from the truth

Actually its not THAT hard in 2022. You all clearly don't take in account AMOUNTS of DETAILED guides related to anything DotA nowadays which can be found in 3 secs with Google. So Herald who follow video-guide will do that casts not so perfect but he still able to do them. Also many players just use scripts which don't make them smurfs: they're still awfully bad at macro and can be beaten easily.

I do agree, but they do far more than just spell spam efficiently.

The Invoker I had on the enemy team (who was a herald 1) was able to not only effectively do multiple different spell combos (tornado/meteor/blast or tornado/ice wall/emp) flawlessly, efficiently used his forge spirits (split pushing, farming camps, etc.), and landed multiple sun strikes.

I can believe that one, MAYBE two of those things could be possible, but to have someone who is supposedly herald 1 doing all of that at once is unbelievable.

Seems more like scripts and cheats. Im not ready to delve in replays to judge some notable moves of real smurf but most of low mmr Invokers are just cheaters.

Anyway, i cannot understand for years what the real problems here? Invoker is just another mage so beat him like mage. If you go ranked match you MUST be able to do such basics. All that "smurf whining" looks like poor Heralds (Legends, Archons - you name it) constantly face mmr abusing party who go at HG at 10 min in normal mode. But all you face really is just some cheaters and solo smurfs. If they're a problem for you you're just at your place that's all. Another story if you go full party to abuse mmr yourself and face smurf full party who leaves no chances. But in solo queueing some soloist smurf is just a good practice for noobs. And they'll be both teams so its more or less "50% system" this way also.

if they use scripts and cheats or trainer , dota ban system can understand they are using extra software behind the game , like cs go cheat vac ban

But we need to identify smurf and booster accounts , and share their information in this topic and twitter as well . then valve supports can take an action about those account

we need to help valve to take back dota community to glory again :)

I think a strict ban on smurfs and boosters would kill the game. If they are as ubiquitous as often stated a strict ban would kind of half the player base instantly. At least in some skill brackets/ranks. They should better work on the reasons for smurfing/boosting instead on killing their player base.

DotA is too complex this part also so different options here:

1. They just started their climbing. Fresh guides/angry willing to try hard etc (hired coach is a good reason). So they'll be maybe even in Immortal but after some time.

2. They're in middle of SOLO climbing and on lower swing of -1000 mmr losestreak etc. No such problems in party DotA.

3. After losestreak or several of them they decided to act like deranker smurf but they're not actually them, but just talented players who aren't ready to ABUSE mmr or play full party only.

3400+ hours in Dota 2 and still Herald. Smurfs are not the problem, your skill is.

If smurf and boosters is not exist in herald rank , maybe herald players can rank up a little .

but they get money for boost low skill player's account to higher rank , its like their job , they make money for doing boost accounts

there is no safe zone for smurf and boosters in herald rank , I will share their information if I see them in my team or enemy side , dota herald pool must be clean from smurf and boosters

seems you like boosters , do not make defence from smurf and boosters , their accounts must be get ban , they cant make money from boosting herald accounts anymore
