I play less and lesser dota .. all because of a matchmaking system that is not able to create balanced matches and that is already true for allpick.
Please. There are plenty of matches where one side has the clear win but is too dumb to capitalize off it and kicks around the map four at least twenty minutes. The opposing team then has to "act" like they they can win. Otherwise you get reported or punished for being afk.
Then it would seem that they could easily balance out turbo to make a ranked version of it by your logic.
What do you consider low? As I find the first three levels are chocked with people that play like Artosis.
ongoing balancing and increasing roaster already changes things. We've even got new items in the shops along with map layouts
>Mode-specific rules
There's not much difference between the regular matches and turbo. It's not like ability drafting or the real arcade style games dota has. Turbo is simply quicker and reduces a lot of unnecessary slow down that people have to now be trained into thinking is good.
The fact that you think Turbo mode isn't that different from normal DotA just shows how little you understand about the game.
This just shows how little you play. The game favors ratters along with regular team battles. As every game of Dota is decided upon by the capitalization of team fights and creep wave flow. At no point are you gonna get away from either being a rat or doing team fights. Other wise you're wasting everyone's time and are the reason normal games take up to an hour+ to win.
Edit: To further elaborate, if you just wanted "regular DotA but faster" then they'd speed the game up so EVERYTHING ran at double or triple speed, which you could argue is Dota-but-just-needing-faster-reflexes. Except that's NOT what turbo mode is, there's LOTS of things that are the same as normal DotA: creep spawn and respawn timers, walking pace, ability and item cooldowns, etc. So clearly if you only change HALF the important rules, it's going to frick up balance something awful.
I'm talking more about trimming fat over huffing nitro. Turbo tends to trim a lot of fat that people usually have to be trained into enjoying from regular matches. Especially with the recent changes that have been implemented. It would seem that turbo will be the eventual go to for the majority of the Dota community
