Losing over 1500 behavior for comms and no other reports

If people can actively ruin my game, and im punished for saying something about it, there is an issue with your system. The filter by which you decide people are being abusive is the fact they used comms in a cooperative game and someone of no merit whatsoever pressed "mute and Report" im getting reports from people that are premuted game ruiners and they can freely report me or anyone else to their hearts content. They could also find the mute button. You could also ban peopel that are walking down mid or destroying items. My pos 4 ursa who died under tower lvl 1 reports me? And it counts for something? While i havent received overwatch convictions against me i will continue to yoyo between 5k behavior and 2k because u let people spam reports while feeding

you are very rude to people.

i went to check the chat for your dota 2 matches and can tell why you got reported for "communication abuse".

here are the reason(s) why you got reported for "communication abuse"

1) you go and insult your team mates and the opposite team

2) excessive usage of abusive language

you lose matches, you also go and "abuse people in the match chat".

this is called "cyber bully".

there is ZERO TOLERANCE towards "cyber bullying".

No its not a "if you want to," if they pre mute you or chat ban you. People at low behavior dont speak at all. They will ping u and your items so you know they are mad ir ping ur death timer. Non of which are reportable offences. But they can also walk down mid or intentionally abuse spells, and you can report them, but nothing happens. Comparatively i cant speak or lose 1000's of behavior for speaking. you can mute a teamate, cant stop him from walking down mid. These things are not equivalent. I dont know when people decided to become so weak and soft but its amazing seeing people cry about words some stranger says to them on the internet or in a game of dota when its the most self fixable thing. Been this way in every competitive game ever. I will remind you to find the mute button

And really to be fair i am only dealing with the worst people and its been this way for years after having issues with my computer when i was younger causing me to abandon games. the quality of my games decreased rapidly as my mmr increased and my behavior went down. People are not kind at 2-5k behavior there is not a person really that isnt abusing comms in some capacity every single game. You just have to not engage with them by not speaking at all. and in general the idea you can report people based on lose guidelines of what somewhat interprets as abuse is ridiculous, if i receive 18 commends in the same report i lose 1k behavior it would be obvious that i am not in general an issue for most teammates. i think low behavior as a concept at all is extremely flawed do to the way punishments are issued for different offences, and really no matter what i do i will never get banned because i spend far too much money. and i never get overwatch convictions. i get muted i jump back to 5k, its an endless cycle, i cant help the small minded. They talk amongst themselves achieve nothing in dota and cry when people say their bad. go play animal crossing or use your mute button. And it legit only happens on this account im 4k on here on 6-7k account litteraly 9-10k behavior all the time. Odd how that works

Thank you but all this confirmed that the system works. Imagine people who is toxic and got knock down to 1k behaviour score but easily climb to 10k behaviour score in a week or a month. Might as well just delete the behaviour system.

You can legit just do that if I mute my comms I’m very easily back to 5-6k In probably 60 games maybe less. The system is not good comms reports are free so you don’t speak. It’s typically just silent unless some one is yelling and someone for ruining the game. The game ruiner can report you so it doesn’t matter. They want you to remain at low behavior so you can’t find matches but can still spend money. While they really haven’t banned anyone. If I can’t be this low behavior see others at this score watch them actively ruin games. You know people get reported for missing spells at this score. You lose behvior score before you are ever convicted of anything. Just the idea of a social score to filter games is already questionable and over watch is a bonus I just get my reports back non stop but I see the same people the next day ruining again. On top of the fact I play 100’s of games with the same people so if they don’t like me they will report me anyway. It’s not helpful it’s just destructive by design. Just a good way to make people more upset

I think your definition of community is a bit off. And at the end it are your team mates that report you (the players), not Valve.

Commends don't do anything for your behavior score, they just pump up a number on your profile. The reason commends don't do anything is because people just trade them to each other, regardless of worthiness, in a futile attempt to counteract their toxicity.

Really an over simplification of why people commend each other. Literally can say the same things about comms reports. Commends I’m the same way don’t need to be substantiated by anything. And it does in fact positively effect your score
