A vote call to surrender

We need this option in game, say if 3/5 vote its a done game then it ends and the other team wins by default.

The only other option to this is abandon which seems unfair then spending more time in a wasted or end game scenario.

But I think, as a side effect, it will open up the field for some professional boosters who play predetermined matches anyway, which could be even shorter than now.

Also, my guess is that it will not be implemented because it would betray the winners for their victory. The game is build around the satisfaction when you beat inferior enemies, when they really suffer from their defeat. It all about dominance and suppression. That‘s the only thing Dota2 offers to you as a reward, compensating the frustration for the other match where you lost badly. So, with surrender option Dota2 would lose some of its main features (although imo it is a poor feature).

Just no. If YOU want to give up, you can abandon (which is literaly surrender for each individual). There is nobody that holds you away from it. YOU decide about surrender or not and you might get punished twice for it

i managed to turn a lost game once and won and im not even that good. Surrender should never be an option. Leave it as is.

If you want to surrender go play league. Dota is about comebacks most of the time.

I have one a couple of times and lost many more times for situation:

Only Ancient Vs Full towers.

You simply need to fight till the end.

The game is lost when people give up.

horrible idea this surrender thing one.

What if the other 2 want to keep playin and trying it would be unfair for them if 3 players want the game to end.
