Dota 2 why the hell do I get banned from custom games for leaving

There should be no penalty for leaving custom games yet angel arena bans me from playing any custom games if I decide to leave, I believe this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t especially since it applies if other people have left already, its not a dota game its custom game and people should not be punished for leaving custom games, warcraft 3 didn't do this unless it was in a bot hosting service or by the owner of the lobby, I dont care I feel this system is completely unfair please change it. And it bans from all custom games not just angel arena, if it was just angel arena it would be fine but all custom games for a whole hour, now that is stupid.

As far as Torte De Lini vs ImmortalFaith, TDL previously played at Ancient-Divine rank although doesn't play actively these days and ImmortalFaith is Immortal. Those are the two most popular in-game guides as far as I'm aware.

Dude you are just mindlessly deflecting here, thats not the point, Dota 2 made a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ tool its their responsibility to fix it, I couldn't give a rats ass about the creators because for all I know they enabled it without knowledge of its implications. Dota 2 needs to make a proper system or remove this half assed piece of junk plain and simple, there is no alternative no better course of action thats what needs to happen plain and simple, don't ask me to compromise for the ailings of a company its their responsibility to change it.

The second half of my post was actually in reply to this thread, just got a little mixed up.

As far as the custom games, again like I said, the creators have the option to enable or disable leave penalties. If you don't like it then contact the creators. If you don't "give a rats ass" about them then don't play their custom games/mods.

This is an awful lot of crying and arguing over games that you want to immediately give up and abandon. Just don't play them, seems like common sense.

Thats not a solution you dumbass I just told you that, the system is bad it needs to be fixed, avoiding games I want to play is not a solution, the system needs to be fair for those playing it not a system where you either suffer and conform or screw you because thats the choices this system gives this is what you need to understand.

You bumped this thread just to repeat the exact same insults and temper tantrum that you posted last month. You already did this in your last post like two weeks ago and then felt the need to bump this thread to repeat the same insults. You want people to feel sorry for you because you can't abandon whatever games you feel like while wasting everyone else's time. Good luck with that.

You openly admit to abandoning games and then blame the system for punishing you for abandoning games, games that you were warned you would receive a leave penalty for if you abandoned them. I gave you real help and advice, that if you don't want to get abandons then either don't abandon games at all or don't join games with leave penalties.

I'm pointing out facts. You claim that I'm being a big ole' meany for pointing them out. If you would like me to actually "talk down to you" then I guess I could just lie if that would make you feel better but otherwise no, what I have told you are facts.

Certain custom game modes have leave penalties, those modes have a notice about the penalties and a warning if you attempt to abandon. Modes like 12v12 are a pain in the butt to play when half the players immediately throw a temper tantrum and abandon the game, which it sounds like you do, that's why those specific modes have leave penalties. If you don't like that then either 1) Don't abandon or 2) Don't play those modes. Simple.

you ruin other people's games in custom games just as much you do in matchmade games when you leave early.

Do NOT leave early if you don't want penalty.

No I don't because if I am such a crappy person they can remake the game in less than a minute with someone willing to stay for that long. I mean there is an easy fix instead of dota autobanning people who leave just leave it up to the host, what if this type of thing gets imposed on a TD map, if we loose are we expected to sit there for an hour waiting for other people to finish their runs.

Firstly you are not pointing out facts your being called an ahole because you dont understand that this system is not fair, no other game does this, I am not ruining anyone's experience because you can go back and remake it in short order, if the banning was up to the host then he can permaban me from his games and I can play ♥♥♥♥ I like and he gets people who want to play and sit for that long. Its not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rocket science, me avoiding the mode is not a solution either because if I am curios about it but happen to not like it, I get screwed because I can't leave. And if I am not enjoying a particular game nothing is stopping me from trolling and still ruining it for everyone else.

The point that I am making is that the system currently doesn't work and needs to be improved. I am just posing an arguement here, in truth I hardly ever leave the games I decide to join but if I feel like I need to leave, I need to be able to do so without being locked out of custom games for an hour, if it means I don't play with that specific host again then its fine, my harm my foul. But the way it currently is does nobody favours lol.

And your point? I stuck out in those games because despite loosing I was enjoying myself, I cant say the same however for custom games, which often aren't fair or fun, and aren't the same type of game therefore you can't use it as a comparison.

I haven't played mid in 2 years and having a string of bad luck makes me a feeder. Lol I just play dota at night and on my server the only people playing at night are people who can kick your ass blindfolded, I do it on purpose to get better I guess.

Because, sometimes I like to play after an update to see if the maker has woken up and made some proper adjustments to it because there are some things I do like about the map, its not so cut and dry or black and white and you cannot keep thinking thats a solution when its the system at fault.

Typical no brainer reply. I got a 1 hour and then a 24 hour ban from leaving a custom game that I privately hosted for my brothers and I.
