Making a sub account and start over 3k mmr is a lot easier than boosting your old mmr.
It's much more time-saving this way. To climb mmr from 1k to 3k is totally ridiculous. Assuming you have 55% winrate, you'd have to play at least 146 games to reach 3k. If you have lower winrate, you need to play more games. Higher winrate, less games.
Of course this estimation only applies if you're playing your best on all of the 146 games and you do not meet any trolls and communicate as you always does.
If you're already good at drafting, last hitting, map awareness, item build-to-situation, rotations, teamfights, then there is no reason for you to be at 1k mmr.
If you were meant to climb you would - if you disagree, then why would you be 1k on your first account, then make second account and be 1k again?
If everyone faces the same problem how is it unfair? If someone else was better then you before you started they will always be better then you. The system is fine and players like you are the problem. If you were bad you should have stayed in unranked until you were good enough. But you don't think about the fact you also dragged other people down with you. So if they have to suffer and work harder for your newbie times so should you.
TDLR: If you suck you hurt yourself and everyone else playing ranked.
Because some people can't accept the fact it's them who is bad. They want to blame everyone for their rank when they had to business playing ranked to begin with.
I can't agree more with this guy. There's a lot of player who practices heroes they never played before or item build they never tried in ranked. Even in 3.8-4.5k mmr bracket which I am playing right now. They're just cancer.
