How to spot a scripter?
I watched my replay earlier with an enemy skywrath, well I dont want to assumed but he's not even pointing his mouse courser to his target to unleash the combo. Is that how a script work in game??

yes, that's how script work

Literally every game you play with a skywrath, analyze his plays. Once he unleashes all the combos known to man in like an instance, you know something's up.
mZ Jul 27, 2019 @ 12:24am
If a Skywrath player releases all four skills and the required items to lock/shut down a player in an instance it's easily known that he's using a script, that or it's just "skills". I'll let you decide.

Scripts work pretty simple, as long as you are willing to accept that there are many script users in dota, you will start to see them more and more.

For example, invoker. You can notice invoker using scripts by looking at his elements change before he does invoke. If they change instantly(which is mostly the case) a second before he invokes, its a script use.

Zeus, you can see if he uses his ulti to kill enemies while he isnt even looking on that spot. He could be farming lane, focusing on it and instantly use Ulti to LH the low HP enemy. Some call it luck, but there is not suck thing as 2 times in a row that kind of luck.

There are many of them out there, meepo, arc, LC, AM, rubic, tinker. The worst ones are invoker, tinker, meepo and arc since they do the most things automatically. That way giving you way more advantage over the enemy.

Most common thing people use as scripts are creep block and zoomout, and it can be easily spotted by simple watching replay for 20 seconds.

Im right now in the game and will point out time stamps when and where he used scripts after i finish this game. I noticed he uses Zoomout and its enough, since all scripts come in 1 pack.

Edit:
So, as yuou can see on very start of the game he is using zoomout, based on how his click input differ from cursor position, when he issues a command on terrain, but all other hud inputs like shop, inv, map click and so on, are right on the spot. So its not a replay bug, its a script use.
You can see on 00:00 he is using creepblock script(automatic), which blocks the creep wave for him. There is even a point when he is not even looking at creeps but his hero keeps on moving and blocking.
THat is enough to say that he is using scripts, no point in looking any further. But lets go just for fun, + so you can see how scripts work, and how much advantage people get with them.
On 0:52 into the game, you can watch his cursor and you will notice it is moving with the speed of light at one point, in like half a second. You can see that 1 time before that, as well as later. That is "auto harass" script with does exactly what it say. It auto harasses an enemy, when he tries to go and get a LH or Deny. There is Auto Harras as well for normal attacks, it works when you are out of the range for aggro, so you dont aggro creeps on to you. Why do you see his cursor move like that? Thats because there is a thing called "humanizer" which tries to position cursor on place of a command of spell/attack.
If you could see how he sees the screen, you would see the double of normal view. You can zoomout as much as you want, here is a link so you can see how can it look like

There is an auto hex script as well, and you can see it on 27:38 when he hexes rubic in fog of war. The moment rubic went into fog, sky blinked and instantly hexed him. In 1 millisecond. You can slow it down and check it for your self.
As well as, theres a script that auto hexes someone who blinks close to you, i didnt search for it in this game but its in that package.
Oh, actually there is something similar at 29:57, with pango. Just watch it, he didnt even click on him and Pango got hexed after he got visible from miranas ulti. Thats how it works, its instant use, and you cant even use items. If there is a delay in use attack/spell/item after you come out of invis, you will be instantly hexed.

I mean, we could go here on and on entire day, it will still give us 0 results since Valve is lazy, and they (i bet on any arcana you want) wont do anything about him. That guy will keep on playing and ruining other people games for a long time. I have seen it with my own eyes, sadly.

Now you know how some of scripts work, so you can maybe learn something from it and try and find a way to cope with it, avoid it, not take chances if someone is fishy.

Have a nice day.

Also they often drop stat items and pick them up instantly when using arcane boots, wand etc.

I did this about a week ago to a techies scripter. Still not banned and continues playing. I wonder do they even take a look at reports? Or does it have to be multiple reports before they even react to it

and that's why you should always "always" ban skywrath as he tends to be used almoust 100% of the times by scripters, and invoker to.

No matter how many reports are made against script users, they wont look into 99% of them. I assure you of that. Valve is lazy and its well known, if its not easy money, they wont do it.

You can find tons of replays on youtube with people cheating, match id's as well as profile id's, and they are roaming ingame to this day.

For once I never believe in cheats on dota. Until I played with this skywrath.

Yeah the auto creep blocking is enough proof.

I investigated his account on dota buff. He user skywrath a lot of times.

My dota life wont ever be the same after this.

P.S. ty for watching my replay

Report his profile on steam AND the game and mark to not play with that person again. Fight back against cheaters.

Just be careful with blaming Skies - if he doesn't silence instantly, but just spams 1 and 2 as soon as you are in range, he may be an agressive player.
