If you have Dotaplus, there is a tab thats called "performance". There are some bullet points, like income, kills, assists, denies and so on. At the bottom you can choose medals from herald up to divine/immortal. There you can compare your skill compared to the average of other brackets and thats exactly where the algorithm thinks you should be. So if youre Archon and think youre a born immortal, but your stats are even below archon or whatever, you just have to admit that you are by far not immortal and no one is holding you back.

the yellow line is your personal, the blue line is the average of the chosen medal/bracket.

For at least 2 years, my personal perf curve was way above the tier average in probably 90% of the games I played.

Which didn't lead in raising my MMR at all. This was mainly due to the fact that I used to play mainly support and it's quite "easy" to be above the average in K/D/A, last hits and denies even more at lower tiers.

The stats also consider that your opponents get stronger. As a consequence, your stats don‘t have to rise with higher ranks. For some heroes the stats go down instead with higher ranks. At least it was at the time I subscribed to Dota+.

What if your average stats are Immortal level on a hero then? Avg stats on ahero doesnt = MMR by any means. You can be a stats farming champ and still be a deadweight (causing mmr loss) for your team.

if your stats are all good and above Divine, youll most likely have enormous impact in your games if youre sitting at archon and clearly rank up with time.

You can have more kills and more last hits than a divine player and still lose. I don't see the relevancy in there. You could have more assits than divine player with zeus, spamming ult all the time and still suck with the hero. I doubt you can deduce many things from theses graphics.

The position you start on is a important factor of the average curve too. When you play a usual mid hero on the off- or savelane your stats are useless for comparison!

I never said or mentioned that. The algorithm matches you based on these stats over a long period with similar opponents. Having one game with 28-0 doesnt change anything. Its a long term thing. Plus, its an indicator of how you perform compared to the average of bracket xy. Performing like an Archon would explain, why someone is stuck in Archon. Please use your brain, in case there is one, before writing your shtposts.

This remain false. Do you know why? Because divine players get these stats against other divine players whereas you get these stats against players of your own bracket.

The game doesnt know who you will pick so how would it use hero specific information. Wouldnt that grief your games? If itbactually does then I'm right to spam techies and pudge when it starts giving me bad teams
