Guys, you must understand that the steam market is not transparent financial system. It is system which is managed only by Steam developers and they decide about prices which are the best for them, for they best earnings.
Hallowed chests are acquired for free, like drop, so they have no profit from them. The only profit is from the sales charge on Steam market, from sales (from accounts managed by Steam for controlling amount of chests) and from the keys (you need to open it).
So, if you think you can predict price developments...be sure you can’t. Only if you have secret contact for someone from managers of Steam market.
The Guy probably bought big amount of chests, prices go down, so he is trying to raise the prices... :D

Uhh what do you mean? I have two jobs. and i withdraw close to $6,000 to $9,000 profit from steam investments per year in real life money. You dont have to be jobless to put extra money in investments and get extra pocket money that way

Why would you trust me? you can do your own research about the hallowed chest to decide if you want to invest or not
I gave investing advice, now its your turn to decide if it suits your investing strategy or not

Obviosly you are missing the point here
I bought 10,000 cases the Clutch Case in CS GO in December 5 months ago for 0.36MYR ( Malaysian currency) and sold it for 1.25 to 1.35MYR ( that case is dropped for free BTW)

I ordered 2.5k of the Spectrum cases in december for 0.66 MYR in december. i only got around 600 of them and the price went up and my buy orders were not fulfilled. anyhow i sold the 600 cases that i bought for 0.66 MYR for 2.5 MYR ( that case, is also dropped for free in the game )

the point is, its not the case that hikes up the price. its what is INSIDE the case. when the case becomes a rare drop, the guns inside the case get rare too and the only way to get them is buy a case and unbox it. Both of the cases i mentioned above are still dropped in game but are rare drops, exactly like the Hallowed Chest

Thr chest was released as part of the halloween event which came after five years of waiting. now the chest is a rare drop, so its supply will go lower and lower. ane the treasires inside will get more and more expensive. what will that do to the chest, i ask you?

Its the demand of the trasures INSIDE that will increase the price, not the chest itself. sorry for the long explanation, but i thought it's important to clarify how a case or chest dropped for free in game can develop so much value

oh yeah, you gonna invest money into steam csgo cases instead of actual stocks and crypto?

you gonna buy something irl with 6k in steam wallet money?
you dont have 6k in steam wallet anyways, just entertaining the thought.

you gonna sell your account and get pennies like people that buy gift cards for a fraction of the price of the card with cash?

no, i dont think you are telling the truth.

Yeah im lying sbout my finances to impress a stranger online, who i have never met OR talked to ever and who has no business knowing about my personal finances or how much i make IRL ( sorry, but im not a 12-year-old kid who does that)

Just an advice for newbies who are living in their video game bubble, you can cash out steram skins on BUFF on bitskins on skinbaron and many others. i personally only use the 1st two since they are trusted and have used since two years now.

but if you dont even know that, then investing is not for you my man, since you have a lot to learn about the market first, let alone put any of your money in it.

and since you used the big boy words like crpyto and stocks, even though i can bet you have no experience of ETF trading. I do have active accounts on etoro, robinhood and suretrader (and paper trading virtual accounts on thinkorswim for charting ourposes ) but that's beside the point since we are talking steam market here, so lets not have a sausage measuring contest here and use words just to impress strangers on the internet, we can be grown ups

LOL SKIN TRADING WEBSITES

all validity of anything you have ever said = gone

first of all, as i said before, i dont need validation from a stranger on the internet. I'm not 12
secondly, these are cash out sites where you can sell the skins and get the payment in your bank account, bitcoin wallet, payoneer account, paypal or other payment methods. Im not condoning these sites I USE THEM PERSONALLY since they suit my banking needs, so dont take this as cash out advice from me.
Do your research, you dont need to gamble on trade on them like a kid. make real money, rather than gamble or play video games

so you are the proprietor of one of these scam websites, trying to draw up business on the steam forums of a video game? scammer.

"do your research" sounds like you dont really have anything meaningful to dispute/contribute and are brushing it off. scammer.

you may not be 12 but you sound like it. basic bottom barrel scammer.

did you know even mentioning these scam websites that buy items and accounts is a break of TOS of steam? scammer.

Reported.

Well, as i said before, it's better to do you research rather than say something embarassing and look stupid later
steam TOS does not allow you to mention gambling websites so kids get mad and waste their money gambling. there are many more websites that are cashout but also promote gambling which should not be mentioned

Dont be mad, just be smart and do your research. or maybe you dont have the time to research since you busy playing your 361 video games all day.

and when someone tells you to stop wasting your time in games and make some money from those games for yourself and your family, you are getting mad instead. real mature, my friend :)
My stance has been that work is for money-making, and games are for fun. It's not worth the trouble of flipping everything in existence to get a little extra spending cash while contributing nothing. Also, I consider it a moral imperative not to buy into 'tulip fever',
