Overwatch: Pros and Cons so far

The recent update changed a few things about Overwatch, and I'd like to give public feedback so I can start a discussion, and hear other people's views on it.

Firstly, the cases now start paused. I like this, it gives me time to look at the case's beginning without being forced to pause it immediately, which I often did previously.

Next, it now shows their rank and lane. I'm mixed on this; On one hand, showing the lane is helpful to determine more specifics about the game as a whole, although I haven't needed it in the past. Seeing the rank, though?

I can very easily see others seeing a player's rank be above theirs, see them perform worse, and immediately put that as "griefing". The justification of which would be, "Well if he's higher rank, he should be playing better". I doubt most people would follow this, but I'm just saying that there's a reason CS:GO's overwatch doesn't show the ranks.

Any other hidden changes I missed? Thoughts on the changes? I'm interested to hear other's views.

the old report system is super vile.

overwatch works, ive reach 131 behavior score last year and got a 7 day ban, i opened a ticket to support, asking why, since i had won 15 of the last 20 matchs i played and i clearly carry them all, most alone. so i ask them this question:

_how can i level my behavior score if you dont let me do it? u keep matching me with players that screw all the games, feed, jungler 24/7, ends the game with 0/20/0 and yet report me?

the next day my ban was lift and they put me in 3 low priority games. so i start a thread here , got a few good inputs but most trolls trying to talkdown my effort.

i kept floating around 3k for while then sometthing changed, overwatch starts and i kept playing, today for the first time in 7 years i got the greenface.

at 3k- behvior score the system used to match me with the same players like 5 times in a roll and on the next day the same thing, 5 games with the same trolls, once i got 4k i played like 200+ games without any sign of these troll i had to deal in the past.

even i doing great, today was a bad day and i had to deal with 3 trolls plus my friend going toxic on me(the catch: these fockers were the ones doing the wrong stuff), but in the end i deal with it.

overwatch mostly just allow toxic players to stay in public matchmaking because its hard to find out without chat available their motivation.

wether its a good thing or bad is up for you to decide

i got turbo match overwatch yesterday and also some unranked. i think they hide the ranksand posiiton when its a normal match or turbo match.

The old report system already accounted for false reports. You have to work hard to get Low Priority in the old system, not counting automatic LP for abandons.

There was a notorious troll on this forum who had OVER TWO THOUSAND matches of Low Priority and claimed it was for "no reason." The system is great news for toxic trolls like that because you can't Overwatch report someone for tilting their team by being constantly toxic, trolling, flaming and being racist in-chat the entire game.

But then ironically, those same toxic trolls don't like the new system because there's no way to punish people just like themselves.
