just find a hobby you like and forget about all the other people doing anything they do just for attention/likes/<e-penis lenght points> and you'll be happy.
Calling this Steam buddies "friends" is already wrong.
Nobody of my real friends like to play Dota 2 .. most of them did not even like to play games with a computer.
You need to make new friends who suck like you! Try friending people after games.
There are other things you can do in life besides dota, just forget about those people.
You can go to your local library and research topics of your choosing and even examine old newspaper articles on microfilm!
You can visit your local dairy and see how milk is processed and handled for delivery!
You can volunteer at the local homeless shelter and help out in the kitchen and make peoples days brighter and nothing is more rewarding then helping a fellow human being get back on their feet!
Stay Happy!
The solution is simple, make more friends on Steam. Play the game. When you find someone in-game you enjoy playing with then send them a friend request. When someone rolfstomps you, send them a friend request, so you can party with them while they're roflstomping someone else. Additionally, you can use the in-game user channels to find a party, join a guild or join a discord clan.
There are plenty of interesting solo games out there.
And yeah, friends should never be the parameter of you being happy in playing video games.
am i lonely? yes sometimes. but whats wrong with being lonely? used to bother me, doesn't any more. i just learned to treat everyone the same. don't need any one person more than the second. i may be an outcast but i kinda learned to enjoy it. solo queue is a lot of fun.
They just pointed out in a simple way that they have no interest in spending time with you..
It's not because you have a different rank, cause they could play atleast some unranked with you..
It's useless to insist, go for your road, in future you will find better people who will want to spend time with you..
What I learned from here is not everybody is your true friend in a sense. And they can't say no to you so they ignore you after that.
