Dont forget to open nvidia control panel and set dota graphic's preference into NVIDIA, not intel graphics.
Set to exclusive fullscreen and dont alt tab regularly.
The game got a few updates since, and I am not sure if the requirements are still the same.
1. Disable steam overlay (shift+tab)
2. Play on 720p
3. Use exclusive fullscreen settings in dota
4. Lock your fps as the same with your monitor refresh rate
I played both on 940MX and HD 4000 and unfortunately my 940MX is broken (screen artifact). I used to have 90fps with 940MX and since May 2020 - Feb 2021 I used intel HD 4000, low settings, and have 60 fps while laning, however in teamfights it may drop to 40-30 fps but playable. This is just a reference for people with the same specs. I played on a PC now and it's a lot better.
