Is it wise to build a vladimir's offering as a pos 5 every match?

I almost always build it as a pos 5 (as Dazzle) after buying mana boots. I also build guardian greaves because Dazzle's ult reduces its cool down by half. I also buy other support items if necessary (like a pipe)

I used to always get vlads, but things die too fast now - you only get one or two autos in. That is hardly enough for Vlads to be viable anymore.

Plus, they nerfed bas ring (the dmg on it). One of the reason Vlads was so good, is you could have the two rings at the start of the game. That's when we had side shop, there were entire builds that would only use side and secret shop.

I think you would grab the hp ring, tangos and... the armor ring? I forget, but you grabbed something out of the side shop so you could have tangos.

Vlads is wack now, unless you are doom with alpha.

Edit -- I want to add this, if there is a problem with things. Then the current meta heros, who are the ones getting these items should be nerfed. When you nerf the items, then the heros who rely on them also get nerfed. The heros that are not meta, they suck even more.

I am glad you post your doubts here. Those are quality threads.

Answer is Dota: always depends.

I play a lot of Warlock 5 and 4. For me, after boots, basilus because it is brolen, wand, some item to assure my safety if/as needed - ghost s, euls, glimmer, if I manage to get an Aghs shard, holy locket, and scepter after that, and refresher, those are like the progression you would like to go. But I see some absolute stomps, and if having vlads to boost your summons to make a final push is what it takes to win, do it.

It is the same as the Desolator bought on the enemy fountain to cause more damage to the throne.

In Dota, what you must understand, is that sometimes you accidently get kills, and tower kills, and of course having good farm patterns matter, but there is a point in any hero, any role, if you stomp, you can grow stronger in weirder timelines should not happen. All that to say I once got AC as warlock because our Offlaner had a poor game and was behind on items, and pushing forward AC would even things and help us, and so it did.

To all your other previous posts aswell:

In lane, you bring items to trade, that means more stats, more regen and both as in form of Faerie Fire. Faerie Fire is a milestone between good and bad people, the art of baiting it, the art of using the 2 extra damage.

Lane is an attrition battle. The team who trades better, wins lanes. Your first priority as a pos 5, while under level 6, in the current 212 meta, is to help win this battle. Buying Salves is not an if, but a when and how many.

In the end, even if lose as a good 5, you will be able to rest well knowing you did your job good.

I dont think Vlads is garbage and still situationally viable, it basically saves your carry 900 gold(from a morbid mask), which he can invest into another item. Also you underestimate the damagebonus. Ever played with an undying who has Echosabre, Armlet and Vlads? During his active ultimate his Rightclick damage is insane.
