Does we get any reward for reviewing cases in Dota 2 matches?
Now I get 5 in a day and as it asks for some commitment every day for these reviews I'm thinking what does valve give us as reward for it? Although the review mechanism must be upgraded and reworked for which I have solutions for making it easier and better result giving review mechanism we still need some kind of reward. (no ones time is for free even tho playing is enjoying but reviewing is not the same).

It doesnt ask anything from you. It suggest if you are free.

Adding rewards will corrupt the sysyem.

Most likely the overwatch thing is still in the experimental stage, right now it's absolutely terrible as most of the cases are just a waste of time. Perhaps in the future they'll change it and who knows they might add rewards.

Thats what I'm saying @Nimrod16, even tho it's in the experimental stage it awful and usually the cases are trash and happen the best player to be reported in which case, for example, you cannot punish the feeder or abuser whos playing is obvious, and yes it's free and but I guess after spending every day on reviewing cases it becomes overwhelming after 1 month, so there should be a stimulus to the one that spends their time on it and why not free month dota + for 30 cases or maybe behavior + for every review

Let us hope then that there should be a sort of incentive to solve cases in the future as with the overwatch of cs.

The stimulus is healthy commujity and good games. Anything else will substitute the purpose and lead to corruption.

The reward is knowing you are sending toxic players to Dota jail.

The stimulus is maintaining the Dota2 player (paying customer) count. For a healthy community and good games they would better put some more effort into the pre-gaming instead of into the post-gaming phase. More „are you sure, you want to play together“ than „damn, who is responsible for the mess“? Anyway, as long as it is fun for the community, the court simulator could be a new part of the game. With rewards, it would be even more fun. You could even get more rewards than playing Dota2 itself.

Thats not a game, that's a serious stuff. If you yreat it as a game you should be removed from there immidiately.

You have a strange opinion on the term serious: free-to-play, anonymous account video game, random solo public matchmaking, team falls apart, throwing a game and need 10 not involved people to judge a case of this kind? That’s like calling the Kindergarten Supreme Court for a 2 toddler fight about the sandbox shovel.

I don’t break the rules of the Dota 2 game, but they block me from playing!

Well if your kindergarten games always end up bieng unplayable and losing its purpose getting people who know what to do to fix it is a good way to solve the problem.

I consider justice a serious matter. Don't you think so?

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
