People have been asking for one since 2012, honestly I don't know if Valve would do a good job. If they did make one I bet it would super grindy.

Valve own the moba version of dota2. So outside of it its free for any people or gaming company to developed. but they also have the right to the name of heroes and other licensing.

He has a point, there are no decent mmo's out there. And any new ones never dare to break the mould, which is why they're so lacklustre.
