10 Steps for Dota 2 OVERWATCH
Sometimes, I feel people are lazy to use the Overwatch system in Dota 2 to review the reported players for a better future for the community. But I think this Overwatch actually is a simple system for players to spend at least a few minutes or maybe seconds to review one or two replays. Instead of wasting time to keep complaining about nonsense thoughts or ideas in the forum, why don't you spend your "golden" time to help the Dota 2 community to improve? If you don't want to anonymously pay at least a single contribution to the community, then you probably will face more bad things in the future because there is no community or society that can be built without assistance from each other.

Requirements:
1. Fast Network Speed with speed around 500 Mb/s (or 60 MB/s) for fast download of the replays every time you are given the entry to review one. Slower speed might require a longer time to download the replay file.

Steps:
1. Click "Review Case"
2. Click "Download Replay"
3. Click "Review"
4. When replaying finish loading, you can see at the bottom has a TIMELINE with blue markers that indicate the parts where the replay will auto-jump and play for you if you are using the AUTO SKIP TO MARKERS system.
5. To me, you just need to control the reviewing by using the PLAY button beside the TIMELINE.
6. Make sure you are spectating as "PLAYER PERSPECTIVE" so that you can easily catch with what the reported player was doing in that game.
7. Before you click PLAY make sure you set the speed of playing at 2x (or any speed you feel comfortable with), and the game will auto jump from a marker or another marker when the previous marker is finished in review. - PLAY or PAUSE whenever you want to see what/where the reported player was abusing the game.
8. If you found the reported player was guilty in any marker, then you can immediately click SUBMIT RESOLUTION for his guilt or offence already.
9. There will be 2 categories of guilt or offence: 1st for Cheating, Hacking and Scripting, 2nd for Griefing or Abusive Behaviour
10. Click SUBMIT VERDICT based on your decision.

Thanks for reading.

Thanks for posting! :2016trophy:This is going to be really helpful for some people who were scared to try Overwatch, or haven't tried it yet.

Many Dota 2 game abusers assuming Overwatch as their "enemy" which could jail them into a period of ban. I really wish to see if Valve can make the game have a simple guide for other players to know and understand how to use Overwatch in their fast & smooth ways. However, there is no guide for them because many might think there will be storing replays in the back whenever they review a case. To me, it doesn't seem like storing any replay that has been reviewed because I don't see any increment in my replay list after I performed reviewing a lot of cases.

In reviewing Overwatch cases never forget that judging based on single short, premarked incidents may produce questionable verdicts.

A lot of „apparent“ cases have an in-game or even before game history (mutual aversion) that makes it hard to identify a single culprit. In addition the game is maybe already a lost cause long before the incident kicks in. Killing a dead horse is not high crime.

These restrictions and the limited patience of lay judges qualify Overwatch as a drumhead court-martial and not more.

"Overwatch allows the Dota 2 community to regulate itself by providing a method for qualified and experienced members of the community to review reports of griefing or cheating, determine whether the reports are valid, and submit their verdict." - Be proud if you are selected as reviewer because not every account can review. You are a qualified and experienced members, chosen by the team to match your thought (report) with the reporters of case.

i used to review a lot when it first came out but it kinda burned me out.

most cases i received were people being reported from the very start of the game which makes no sense.. literally 5 mins from start when nothing happens.

i'm guessing they get reported for their picks or something which is not a reportable offense.
its not griefing, certainly not feeding and if its cheating its hard to tell from the fountain.

2nd most reported case were just people blatantly deleting their items and going afk..
its just gets so depressing to watch as a reviewer...

Different servers or regions have different attitudes. Some people can feel dissatisfied with their allies picks also as u said. That's how or why conflicts always happen in a team. Sigh~ but we have to just submit it no matter what in order for developer to understand what community want us the game to look like. My other words is, if the community don't want to cooperate, then how the developer can cooperate to satisfy them back?

More members who been selected by the developer to be eligible in reviewing the Overwatch reports should at least try and learn to know how to use it if found it's too difficult to use or never use before. :) up

I can safely say that both Overwatch and Report system works same as my toilet.. I ♥♥♥♥ on it and flush it .. thats how much it helps ...
1. You have any1 who is with good behavior and probably Archon rank to watch and decide, not taking in fact that there are plenty of boosted ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or acc buying ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who have that option = FAIL
2. When reviewing, HOW ARE YOU SURE they actually reviewed and which rules do they follow ? Do they see the whole game ? the just reported part , how do they know the whole story... I see BSJ doing Judgements usually and I am satisfied by his decisions 85% of the time, with them 15% cus his brain works at Immortal and not lowbie ranks.
3. What is the point of a System where there is no ONLINE support nor way to Appeal in a conviction? NOR TO KNOW EXACTLY WHERE< WHEN AND HOW WERE YOU REPORTED ...
All in All .. system which MAY have been good.. its just plain Retarded . In overall .. hats off the exceptions :)

Overwatch only reqires ARCHAIC 1 megabyte per sec digital broadband connection.

Some countries are just so snobby, draconian abusively nasty to it's citizens and allow the bureaucracies/telecoms over influence.... cause they think they have a future in politics.

Plus they get pissed over angry gamers, so they hold grudges overly opinionated angry comments and think it's a hate crime, when really they are just overrated angry abuse parent jack***.
