What is the use of scaling model size in dota2?

What is the point of scaling model size with tinker's Aghanim scepter skill or giant ring? Has it no meaning except changing visual appearance?

Maybe also it's easier to click on them, although i don't know if the hitbox actually changes too.

However,tinker's Aghanim scepter skill makes model smaller and harder to select, without any benefit.
