[FIXED] steam keeps losing connection while running dota 2

Even If my internet works fine in every other program I try, while in a Dota 2 in game lobby my game will just disconnect and dota 2 will go into offline mode. Steam also says "no connection" it seems that only running dota 2 will cause my steam login authentication to go from online and disconnect every few seconds non stop i can play other online games just fine and my internet seems to work with out a hitch. only dota seems to cause this error where when it checks for my steam online it will toggle from disconnected to online i have checked both my firewall and ports even after changing ports i am still unable to start a game with out it logging out my steam then reconnecting every few seconds. from what i see in dota 2 console it when it checks if im logged in on steam it detect it as disconnects and kick me from the dota server and it well say offline.

Things I have tried

• re-downloading steam/dota2
  
• verifying game files
  
• running as admin
  
• resetting netsh winsock
  
• disabling all my firewalls
  
• port forwarding dota and steam clients
  
• check my connection to the game server
  
• check my internet with other games and clients

any one facing similar issues or any ways to help ? im at a loss here

UPDATE

i manage to fix it but im not sure how I did it but it works. i am using a router ASUS RT-AC66U
under its settings for Game i toggled an option Gear Accelerator from off to on, i am not sure how does this change anything or affect it but i did it and it fixed it so i am just posting so if anyone has the same case maybe can be of help
