Your build is better than having 0 dmg mid or end game.
Ppl don't understand the diff between a ranged carry from melee. They have the advantage of range and teammates to help them, thereby it is even more valueable to go damage builds.
As for your item suggestion for her, I hope you realise that Butterfly for example gives Drow more damage due to agility than MKB does. If thats what youre obsessed with, damage. Not that MKB is a bad item, its in my opinion situational.
