A lot of people got banned today for 1 year - please provide the info about your actions, and maybe someone already received any feedback from Steam Support? These bans are 100% unfair. The system is broken.

These requirements of 1 year ban.
- Deliberate actions to artificially boost MMR of the account
- Buying, selling, or trading accounts with boosted MMR
- Creating an unfair competitive advantage through third-party programs
- Circumventing low priority by collusion with other users or bots

Strange I never saw a cheater or smurf get ban because of these. They are still playing and most of 5k+ player has a second account.

I khow these requirements - but all of them are not applied to banned people (I asked about 10-15 of them), that's why it looks unfair or Valve team should announce new requirments if they add smth esle BEFORE ban for year. Most of banned players started to play Dota 2 from the Beta-test. They are not bots or smth like that.

I have 4500 hours of playing DotA 2, i have never (I repeat) NEVER been banned, or sent to Low prio I have never even gotten a chat ban in over 4500 hours.

So Dimaus you explain how that can possibly be? How can i have over 4500 hours playing DotA and never ever been banned for anything?

But better yet how the heck were you able to be so toxic you got a ban as fast as you did?

there is not a problem with the system, it is not report abusers, if either of those were true in any capicity at allo Statistically I would have seen at a minimum 3 bans of some sort.

You can easily receive reports for nothing from you teammates, if u try smth new and unstandard and even if u won with it - and pls leave this topic and create your own - this one is for unfair banned people. Update - sure you have 522 games as sup and Normal skill lvl(Crusader 2 hahah) - noone report supports, but what happened if u dont play support? Finally Valve release Role-Search, but too late

I think valve need to apply this 1 year ban in chinese abusing solo queue in japan server.

Scripts or simple zoom hack could be the reason? I’m checking all my losing replays and I’m spotting people using 3rd party applications which is an unfair advantage to the one who are not.

probably it could, but tha banned wave today is not for them, we never used it - and those who used still could play
