I believe it's made for lower skilled players to find what they need to improve on in order to win games. I've never used it myself and probably don't need to, but my friend uses it to help him improve his skills to win his matches.

Its not only for low skill players, its for high skill also. Its intentions are to help and improve you at particular game. It has some normal fetures that you get for free, and it has some bonus fetures you get if you pay. After you end a match, in 5 minutes or so, you will get a result of that match. It will tell you where you did mistakes, where you could survive and how, how well you played compare to others, where you could have killed someone, when you should have gone back and so on.
And It scans your matches for cheaters too. It detects only few cheats, thats only problem with Gosu.

So no, its not a scam. Its used by a lot of people that i know.

it's a good website. you can trust it. It breaks your game into specifics and you can see where you made mistakes. it;'s not a scam

I use this Gosu.AI Assistant, after each game it tells me that i play like Legend or Ancient rank(i play like crusader or archon at most). But its fun to see advices like - Jakiro has one of the slowest turn rates in game, and slowest animation casts, so positioning is the key. Also It shows me how many creeps i have killed from possible creeps i could have killed in laning stage(like 35 out of 51).

It attempts to identify cheaters in Dota 2 matches however it spits out false positives and sync issues which are common in match replays can cause gosu.ai to erroneously identify players as cheaters. Additionally, if it does identify someone as a cheater, beyond that it does absolutely nothing, they won't get banned if you report their Steam profile cuz Gosu.ai told you they were cheating.

Anyone who has a moderate amount of experience in Dota 2 and doesn't just get mad and accuse anyone who kills them of cheating, will be able to tell people who are cheating/scripting pretty easily.

As far as OP claiming the bot just added him by itself, it shouldn't do that unless you have requested it yourself through the website.
