All heroes are unlocked from the beginning. You need total of 100 hours of unranked playing before you can go ranked

dude, iirc a long time ago they made new players stick to like 20 beginner heroes like wraith king, lina, etc unless they pick a game mode like ardm/ability draft/etc.

It was called limited heroes. I think you could also dc without punishion and you were replaced by a bot in this mod xd.

no they made it so u can only pick those heroes in all pick too until ur first like 100 hrs or something idk.

It's not 100 hours, it's 25 matches, and AFAIK it can by bypassed if you type "dota_new_player 0" into console before your match begins.

welp, it was something. anyways, it's there to protect you from choosing more advanced heroes and not enjoying the game so I wouldn't recommend bypassing it. I'd also recommend remembering those heroes it shows you and using those exclusively for a while til you learn the basics.

it hasn't been that way since at least early 2013, I jumped straight in to more advanced heroes. I do remember the limited draft mode, but it was just that, a separate mode.

Limiting hero choice for new players was re-introduced years ago I think. Of course, assuming you're not a new player, you're not going to be familiar with the restrictions on new player accounts but they constantly come to the forums to ask why they can't pick X hero and why they can't play ranked.

Bruh.. i play for 13 hours more and still have limite heroes . I remember old rule just need 10 hours to unlock limit heroes
