New player - Advice for playing Drow Ranger

I have started playing with Drow after gaining basic skill with some other heroes. So, what would you recommend for a new player starting Drow? What kind of situations she is most useful/useless? Magical/physical advantage or disadvantage etc. I have gathered info from other sources but there seems to be some gap in website articles vs the practical knowledge of active players.

So far, I've noticed that in early stage, she has very slow movment speed, slow attack speed (noticeably long animation), armor is low but better than sniper i guess, her range is moderate (at least better than Gyro lol). I think her main vulnerability is her extremely slow speed in early stage.

In those practice matches, i noticed that even after power treads, she gets in trouble when escaping. At fairly late stages, the increased HP/dmg/armor and upgraded Freeze+Silence etc are capable of compensating her slow speed. So, I was wondering why not Phase boots, such as those for PA? Additions to attributes can be achieved via other items ... but im a noob so what u say?

Like DK, I've seen Drow is not a prominent pick in pro matches (but definitely she is played more than DK sure). Whats ur thought?

buy shadow blade for escape or dagger but it seems she is good with shadow blade, buy manta for dispell and pushing, idk I buy power thread it give you such good attribute, sometimes you need to change it to red power tread when you in low health, the most important to play that hero is positioning, get the safe place to attack or ganking enemy don't get too close when your team in war spam your frost arrow and silence as much enemy as you can and his ulti damage bonus is gone when there are enemy close to you so positioning is the most important for hero like drow or sniper, and actually positioning is important for every hero
after shadow blade you can buy silver edge to break enemy passive or go to mjolnir or other item.
you can buy daedalus for crit or buy item that boost your attribute like butterfly, manta, sange yasha, but I always buy item that boost my attribute, and don't forget to buy dragon lance it give you more range and good attribute with low price
