Proc Chances!?!?!?!

hi Guys. i'm curious to ask what are the proc chances in dota2. SInce when i play a hero with proc chance(Pa, SLardar, ogre, axe and so on) i rarely get a prog in... and on the other side when i play vs one of those heroes it's outrageous and obliterating frustratiing that they get all proc in.... so i ask how is calculated? what are the rules for them...

Here a slightly simple explanation.

Axe - Axe has a 20% proc chance on his spin, the proc chance can only proc if someone attacks him. Basically means, that you're not using Axe right.

Slardar - Slardar is a good semi-carry/support, his bashes are very reliable since it has a good proc chance (25%) and bonus physical damage. If you are playing Slardar but not landing any bashes, means that you're not using him right.

Ogre Magi - This hero is really a chance-based casting hero, which means casting is what making Ogre strong, what I'm saying here is that you need to cast your spells often using this
hero. (Duh)

Phantom Assassin - If dont land any crit on this one, you shouldn't really use her.

ok ... i'll give u some experiences with the heroes above .
Axe: died many times at neutral... while being atacked . will not say that he doesnt spin when going with dagger , taunt into heroes and many creeps
Sladar: ibasically i got 1 bash from 11 or 12 hits... wich is what 8% bash chance?
Ogre: in one of the mathches i had ... in a 66mins game i only got 2 multicasts on heroes and i had aghs as well.. pls explain that ... and that is not the only game...
PA: i dont want even to start... since i have alot of games with her (over 400) and let me tell u that i quit playing on crit chance and made kills with some normal attacks. since Crit chance aplly to somebody else NOT ME!

If it says 25% chance
1st hit has 7.5%
2nd hit has 15%
3rd hit has 22.5% chance to crit/bash etc
It is reset to 7.5% if you land crit or bash etc
Is called pseudo distrubtion i think

so in that theory of urs after 14 hits i'm suposed to have 100% crit chance? well guess what IT'S NOT. :((( ive played a whole game with out landing any crits on heroes... thought i was goiing mental ... anyway tnx for the info...i still find it weird how this thing works...
