Lag / Slow connection to game coordinator (Australia)

Is anyone else experiencing lag issues consistently where the dota2 game coordinator will take ages to connect and then you can't queue for games/arcade or even watch games? If I do manage to get into a game it just fails to load. And it will take 10 seconds to respond to my "Ready" command when the game pops.

While this is happening I'm getting a reliable 8ms ping 40mbps down / 18mbps upload.

I can't even queue now, If I leave the "Watch" part open for long enough I can see some active games though. I can't see any games in Arcade lobby lists, and if I attempt to make my own lobby it takes 10 seconds to load / leave.

At least I know it's nothing of my own to diagnose. I feel bad for people who have paid for battle passes / dota+ though.
