Is there a way to mute pings?

I was able to mute all incoming chat, but sporadically i do see people's pings.
Is there a way to avoid that?

Muting them ingame (can't remember was it voice or text, prolly voice) will mute their pings also. It's just that it allows one ping through every once in a while

Yeah, that one ping is very annoying, especially when you die.

It's text chat mute that disables pings and quick chat spamming. It'll treat the player similar to them having the actual mute function, where there's a cooldown to their quickchat and ping use. The game won't fully outright disable it, as it is a team game and you should still be aware of your team, even the ones acting like a piece of crap. Muting these functions and limiting them simply makes it easier to ignore, you'll just have to deal with it at that point or not play.

when you mute the specific player ingame (annoying ones like pings, i mute both text and voice for good measure) and i dont see/hear most of their pings anymore. muting all incoming chat doesnt stop pings, incoming chat is just text chat that you write in by pressing enter.
