most people never reach 2.5k and above. the majority are 2k and under. but like all the pro players if you play for 10k hours and watch your own replays to see what you could have done different and learn from mistakes you can get a lot better

majority is 3k , graph goes low on lower or higher mmrs (kinda unstable till 4k)

That 3k stat from opendota is misleading as it only counts people with public match data shared,which higher mmr players tend to do more often than lower ones.

I expect the real average is *much* lower than 3k, probably around 2000.

perhaps. if you try hard and enough and dedicate a lot of your time to do so, you have a chance, but you have to ask the question... will be worth it?
