My items disappeared
I was playing dota and suddenly turned off my computer. In that I turn it on again and I see in my inventory that there are not 2 items that just gave me that day

Noone can remove items from your inventory, unless you used a unsafe sites and gave your info. Or a friend you trusted and had your password stole them.

LOL no you got scrwed by a tradebot and now you make up some crazy story. DOTA items are entirely server side. Nothing is stored on your computer and there is no where for the items to disappear too other than deleting, selling or trading. The only way your stuff could simply be lost is a database failure. That would also mean most of the community would have lost their items too. But regardless none on here can help you so you will need to contact customer service.

Looking at your profile tells the story of who you trade with.

incomplete english and the strangeness of turning off a computer mid game makes Crunktanium's theory seem possible

it can happen when the game is force stopped( restarted pc) and you skip the sync progress when rejoining next time (retrieving the data from the server). happened to me before. got all my items back after veryfing the integrity of files
