DOES IT MATTER IF YOU DONT INSTALL DOTA/STEAM IN DRIVE C:(SSD) INSTEAD YOU INSTALL IT IN DRIVE D:(HDD)?

I cant run smoothly Dota because it loads too much tell me if this is the problem between the drives.

can be, you'll have slow loading times, you should start a bot match before trying to play an online to get everything going.

Yeah I tried it but it doesnt have an effect.

can i just uninstall it and install it again then put it on drive C:(SSD)? That way it will load faster? or maybe not.

now i have steam isntalled on an ssd and dota on a steam library on an hd.
it takes like 10 times more to load than when i had both on the ssd, but i notice the load time only the first game i never was too slow, as someone said, yo ushoudl try loadign int oa bot match before queing soyou have all the assetes loaded into ram.

it also depends a lot on the hd, how fast(old and format) it is and most importantly, how much fragmentated it is.

give a look at the steam settings "download> steam library folders", you can set up steam to palce games i ndifferent places
