DISABLE THE INTRO

I don't want to see that every time.

Edit: you can disable the Intro by going to the starting options of dota and type: -novid

1. Open the Steam client
2. Navigate to Library tab
3. Right click Dota 2
4. Select Properties
5. Navigate to General tab
6. Click Set Launch Options...

no, no and NO! the intro is holy moly good! and background too! i like that, the intro is very high resolution and amazing, hope they never change it :)

psdt: if you don't wanna see the intro, just clic in the video and skip instantly.

Note that -high forces the game to have maximum CPU priority. I haven't had any problems with it, but your mileage may vary if you're playing on a weaker machine or have a lot of programs open at once. -novid, on the other hand, is awesome. Another universally useful command is -mapdota, which causes Dota to load the map during the launch phase, rather than when you enter a game. Speeds up loading during actual matches and can potentially reduce the chances of the nasty 'black screen bug'.

Yes. It's very annoying at least for me. I have a low spec laptop and it doesn't load very fast unlike high spec computers. So sometimes when i'm playing a game and i suddenly got disconnected or the game suddenly crash for some unknown reason, it can take a long time to come back since my loading is not fast. And to add the intro to that makes it much longer and it's not fun for me when i encounter this issues.
