Spirit Vessel : what do the charges do ?

In every description I could find, there are details of what the item does - completely independant on charges - and details on how it accumulates charges, completely independant on what the charges do ...

For example, if you use it on enemy morph he cant shift agi to strg so fast. Another example is void, he will not travel in time to full health. Its also good vs alchemist - he cant regen so fast using ulti.

It's because you need to use the charges for them to do something. Holding your Vessel or Urn charges to the point of never using them makes the item worthless. You gain charges when an ennemy die around you. It's that simple. Don't build two of those on your team because only one urn will get the charges.
